Orthodontics

About Us

Orthodontics is a specialty branch of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. The design, application and control of orthodontic appliances to bring teeth, lips and jaws into proper alignment and to achieve facial balance require professional skill. An Orthodontist is a specialist dentist in the diagnosis and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. Orthodontists must first complete the faculty of dentistry, and then a four-year dental graduate program in a university. Through this training, the Orthodontist learns the skills required to manage tooth movement and guide facial development (dentofacial orthopaedics).
